THOR is a certified company specializing in medical devices. Its THOR LX2.3 photobiomodulation system holds the CE mark and has been approved by the FDA. This therapy uses lasers or LEDs and is known as photobiomodulation (PBM) Therapy, also referred to as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT). Photobiomodulation promotes tissue repair, including skin, muscles, tendons, bones and nerves, while reducing inflammation and pain. It is particularly indicated for the treatment of conditions such as oral mucositis, tendinopathies, joint pain, cervical and lower back pain. Each treatment session lasts between 5 and 10 minutes, with a frequency of two to three times a week for a minimum of 8-10 sessions in total. The treatment is painless and has no side effects.
